Susan J. Taylor
Born in Des Moines, Iowa March 14, 1954.
Began practicing law in Texas in 1985 with a primary concentration in business, real estate, and commercial litigation and bankruptcy.
She is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Ms. Taylor has significant trial experience in both state and federal courts. She has successfully represented businesses, banking institutions, title companies and others involving contract and lease disputes, land title and easement matters, employment disputes, commercial and residential real estate matters. Her experience includes representing clients in business asset acquisitions, business asset sales, and helping troubled companies complete work-outs with financial institutions and creditors.
She is a member of the Houston and American Bar Associations. She is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. She is a former President of the Houston Turnaround Management Association, former director of the National Association of Woman Business Owners.
She is licensed to practice law in Texas, United States District Courts, in the Southern, Northern, and Western Districts of Texas, and before the United States Supreme Court. She graduated from the University of Houston with a law degree in 1985. Her preparatory education is from Drake University (B.A.1975; M.A.1978).
